We just made a DIY clothes folding board and I am going to show you how. Folding clothes is my least favorite household chores and I know you don’t like it too. For me, it will take 2 to 5 movies before I can finish folding our clothes. It really takes a lot of time. And now that I have a new born, I don’t the luxury of watching 2 to 5 movies straight. Good thing my nephew mentioned that we can do diy clothes folding board and that folding clothes would be easier with this.. sige na nga, subukan natin.
Here’ what you need for DIY clothes folding board:
- 3 pieces 1/8 illustration board
- scissors
- duct tape
DIY Clothes Folding Board
Step 1. Cut each illustration board into 2, giving you 6 pieces of 7.5 by 10 inches board.
Step 2. Put two boards together (shorter side) with at least 1 cm apart then tape it. Do this to the remaining boards, giving you 3 taped boards.
Step 3. Spread all the boards then tape the upper part together. Make sure there’s a space between each board.
And now you can start folding clothes!
Here’s a video of my first born using our DIY Clothes Folding Board:

May 20, 2016 at 2:51 amI’ve seen these folding boards being sold at stores, but I never realized how easy it is to make them at home. This is a great way to keep folded clothes looking neat and uniform on a shelf. I can’t wait to try this project.

May 23, 2016 at 10:00 pmI don’t mind folding clothes as long as the music is on in the room. Otherwise, it feels forever to finish folding the clothes.

June 9, 2016 at 3:43 pmCool! Ako naman I enjoy folding clothes more than washing them. Kaya naman nagkasundo kami ni hubby na sya ang maglalaba at ako ang magtutupi ng damit namin. Division of labor FTW! 🙂
