My excitement over the Baby Company Grand Baby Fair 2016 has been very very obvious on all my social media accounts. I have been looking forward to this fair ever since I’ve learned about it. I can’t wait to shop for my baby boy! As I have mentioned before, this is my first time attending this event as an expectant mom shopper.
Baby Company Grand Baby Fair 2016
Here are the few things on my shopping list right now (praying I won’t go over the budget teeheee):
- Wooden Crib (white or brown) > got a dark brown for 5200 PhP
- Bedding Set for the wooden crib > set with bumpers for 2000 PhP
- Bed sheet for bedside crib > included in the bedding set
- mittens and booties (white, 6 pairs each) > NONE
- white long sleeves tie side > got 6 from Ainon/ Smart Baby
- rubber sheet > NONE
- baby towel/ receiving blanket x2> NONE
- bath essentials (basin) > got one from Safety 1st at 2000 PhP
- Mustela for my stretchmarks> NONE
- Nursing Bra> NONE (too pricey!)
- Ring Sling> NONE (few design from Next9)
I felt like Bianca Gonazalez- Intal last Friday. After the media launch of the New Ariel Power Gel, she was there at the Baby Company Grand Baby Sale too!
Bianca Gonzalez- Intal shared the 10 things she learned about pregnancy such as skin care and why raw food is not a preggy mom’s food. Expectant moms cannot consume some of the medicines that is intended to treat gastro related complication.. it is not safe for the baby. So as much as possible, stay away from raw food to lower the risk of gastro related complications.
Now, to my shopping adventure!
shopping for baby Marius and covering for Mommy Bloggers Philippines
Can I just say that this is the most hassle, stressful shopping experience I had in my life?!? I have been covering this baby fair for years and I usually go there during the preview (Thursday) and it was my first time to shop (and at the same time cover for Mommy Blogger Philippines). It was jam-packed! So many preggy moms! So many shoppers! The Baby Company Grand Baby Fair 2016 feels like a Hunger Games edition! haha
But it was worth it! And good thing I had my helper with me so I didn’t even have to fall in line. Another plus point is Wilkins are everywhere for thirsty shoppers and the restroom is near! I wish there more chairs though, specially at the cashier area so that pregnant shoppers can rest from time to time. Speaking of cashier, there’s a lot! The line is loong but moves quickly! The line can be bothersome to some shoppers though.
Here are some of the things I bought:
I got this crib for 5200 PhP from 8500 PhP! And the bedding for the crib is at 20% off. The set includes 2 bolster, 1 pillow, 1 comforter and bumpers for 2000 PhP.
One of the highlights of my Baby Company Grand Baby Fair 2016 shopping experience is meeting Maricel of The Parenting Emporium:
The Parenting Emporium is a retail social enterprise that has only one aim: to help make the parenting journey easier for you. For all your parenting journey needs, you can contact TPE at (02) 7253723 / 7386272 / 0917-5614366 or check out their FB Page (The Parenting Emporium Facebook Page). I got my Blanqi Maternity Underbust Support Tank Top from TPE. It’s a must buy when you’re pregnant. The Blanqi is really serious when it comes to support. I wouldn’t be able to shop, stand, walk that long if not for the Blanqi I was wearing last Friday.
One of my fave baby brand is also there:
Ainon carries Smart Babies, one of the most affordable baby clothing brand.
And speaking of clothes, look what I got for baby:
This is not on the list buuuut it was on sale! 3 for 299 PhP only! How can I resist?!
Compared to the last fairs I attended, there were lesser baby clothes brand this year.. more diaper brands, and a lot infant gears brand (stroller, car seat, crib, so many brands to choose from!) Sadly, Pampers did not participate in this year fair.
This bath center from Safety 1st is the blockbuster of all bath basin for babies! I got this for 2000 PhP (regular price is around 2500 if I am not mistaken). I was looking for a small basin for bathing and this one fits perfectly with my size requirement!
See, it was really worth it!

February 1, 2016 at 1:55 pmHaha. We have the same bath tub for our babies. Our little munchkin enjoys his bath there.
Didn’t look into the clothes as I do not want to be tempted. I came to the baby fair just to buy weaning stuff for my turning to six months boy. It wasn’t that successful though for I saw Lille baby tokidoki baby carrier and I gave in.
But the experience was fun. And my mom enjoyed the most because she was able to wear my baby.

February 3, 2016 at 10:41 pmI wish they had this here in Cebu when my son was younger. They are always my first choice regardless if some stuffs are expensive. When they opened their new branch here, I was invited but didn’t get the chance to attend. I’m still breastfeeding my son, and it’s a little impossible to go out without him. Better luck next time for me. Heheh

February 4, 2016 at 6:35 amI bet my sister (a new mommy) would love to go to one of these FAIRS.
I am still shocked my sister has a kid. I have only met her child once, when it was a week old, so it’s still so weird to me!

February 4, 2016 at 12:19 pmWhen I saw the FB post of Baby company that contained 90+ photos of the deals, my god, I wanted to go on impulse buying including items that my baby doesn’t need. Hahaha! I told my sister that the stroller she gave was Php 1100 off, and she was like “I should have waited”. 🙂
