With all the “without shoes” photos I posted on Instagram, one would think I love walking barefooted.
Truth of the matter is, I do not like walking barefooted. Even when I sleep, I wear socks. In fact, I have a dozen gray socks on my closet. I wear socks almost 20 hours a day.. I really do not like when my feet are exposed.
I joined the #withoutshoes campaign because I believe the cause TOMS are trying to promote.
“ONE DAY WITHOUT SHOES” is an annual global event that aims to spread awareness on the impact a pair of shoes can have on a child’s life.
And that’s also the reason why, even though I do not like being barefooted, I joined TOMS One Day Without Shoes event and walked without shoes around BGC.

Bloggers join hand in hand (or feet in feet) to promote TOMS “One Without Shoes” campaign.
My walking buddy, Mommy Glaiza of Moomy Musings.
It was a fun event and a very meaningful one. An eye opener for most, we walked around 6 PM and the pavement was still hot, imagine the life of kids walking barefooted all day long. I hope TOMS were able to reach their 1 Million goal shoes for this year.
Next year, I want you to walk with me #withoutshoes! See you!
I love Toms not only bec of their quality shoes but also bec of their advocacy. Tama nga na kung 6pm masakit pa sa paa paano pa the whole day. Hope I could join something like this in the future too!:)
di ba!!! next year, sama ka! 🙂
