I have been thinking of putting up a MOMMY PEHPOT list page. A list of restaurants, products and places that got me raving for days or weeks. Still a work in progress but I already have a list! Included on the list is RACKS.. because of so many reasons!
Reason number 1: It’s one of those restaurants that keeps us full without hurting our budget. Imagine a bill of less than 2000 PhP for 6? We love ordering Racks Sampler, it got all the grills that we want. And we love the mud pie and the cheesecake for desserts
Reason number 2: The ribs! Need I say more?
FYI: Aside from the lip-smackin’ good baby ribs and the slow-cooked classic pork ribs, RACKS also serves flame-grilled Angus beef rib eye seasoned with signature steak rub paired with red wine au jus. For those who prefer chicken, the juicy hickory-smoked chicken and the good ol’ crispy Southern style fried chicken are go-to options.
Reason number 3: The sauce, which you can take home by buying a bottle or two! It’s worth it, I promise!
Photo exhibit: Friends from ARC PR and RACKS sent some BBQ sauce to us.. timing that our last bottle of the extra hot sauce is almost empty!
Reason number 4: The staff are really nice and RACKS is very family oriented.
Our favorite branch is their EL Pueblo branch.. because it’s the nearest and parking is easy!
What’s new with our favorite ribs restaurant?
RACKS recently opened its 15th and 16th branches:
- RACKS Timog Avenue
- RACKS Evia Lifestyle Center, Alabang
The new brances debut a new cozier look!
“We’ve decided to change our look to make the RACKS experience more enjoyable and authentic,” says Chukri Prieto, RACKS’ Managing Director. “A lot of people don’t know this, but RACKS stands for Real American Country Kitchen Style. We serve classic southern country dishes and we want that reflected on our restaurants’ design. In essence, what we want to do is to create a warm, homey atmosphere where people can sit back, relax and have fun while enjoying great comfort food with their significant other, family or friends.”
“We’ve committed ourselves to really upping our game this year,” shares Prieto. “We want everyone to watch out for the surprises we have under our sleeves. We’re going to be so much bigger and better, all in the name of providing everyone a more authentic and comforting experience.”
Other RACKS branches:
- Festival Supermall
- Greenhills
- Paseo de Magallanes
- Paseo de Santa Rosa
- Robinson’s Manila
- SM Fairview
- SM Mall of Asia
- SM Megamall
- SM North
- SM Pampanga
- SM Southmall
- The Fort Strip
- Trinoma.

Have you been to RACKS? What’s your favorite in the menu?
Love RIBS as much as we do? How do you want it served? Hot sauce or just regular Barbecue sauce?
