I have been thinking of putting up a MOMMY PEHPOT list page. A list of restaurants, products and places that got me raving for days or weeks. Still a work in progress but I already have a list! Included on the list is RACKS.. because of so many reasons!
Reason number 1: It’s one of those restaurants that keeps us full without hurting our budget. Imagine a bill of less than 2000 PhP for 6? We love ordering Racks Sampler, it got all the grills that we want. And we love the mud pie and the cheesecake for desserts
Reason number 2: The ribs! Need I say more?
FYI: Aside from the lip-smackin’ good baby ribs and the slow-cooked classic pork ribs, RACKS also serves flame-grilled Angus beef rib eye seasoned with signature steak rub paired with red wine au jus. For those who prefer chicken, the juicy hickory-smoked chicken and the good ol’ crispy Southern style fried chicken are go-to options.
Reason number 3: The sauce, which you can take home by buying a bottle or two! It’s worth it, I promise!
Photo exhibit: Friends from ARC PR and RACKS sent some BBQ sauce to us.. timing that our last bottle of the extra hot sauce is almost empty!
Reason number 4: The staff are really nice and RACKS is very family oriented.
Our favorite branch is their EL Pueblo branch.. because it’s the nearest and parking is easy!
What’s new with our favorite ribs restaurant?
RACKS recently opened its 15th and 16th branches:
- RACKS Timog Avenue
- RACKS Evia Lifestyle Center, Alabang
The new brances debut a new cozier look!
“We’ve decided to change our look to make the RACKS experience more enjoyable and authentic,” says Chukri Prieto, RACKS’ Managing Director. “A lot of people don’t know this, but RACKS stands for Real American Country Kitchen Style. We serve classic southern country dishes and we want that reflected on our restaurants’ design. In essence, what we want to do is to create a warm, homey atmosphere where people can sit back, relax and have fun while enjoying great comfort food with their significant other, family or friends.”
“We’ve committed ourselves to really upping our game this year,” shares Prieto. “We want everyone to watch out for the surprises we have under our sleeves. We’re going to be so much bigger and better, all in the name of providing everyone a more authentic and comforting experience.”
Other RACKS branches:
- Festival Supermall
- Greenhills
- Paseo de Magallanes
- Paseo de Santa Rosa
- Robinson’s Manila
- SM Fairview
- SM Mall of Asia

Love RIBS as much as we do? How do you want it served? Hot sauce or just regular Barbecue sauce?
I do enjoy your ideas! Wish that some of these places would be close to where I live – thank you for your fun posts 🙂
My husband and I loves RACKS. He is crazy about the ribs too. Oh I think putting up a “list page” for products and places you love is a good idea. 🙂
Hello Mayen! My husband is crazy about the ribs too! hahaha
The MP List is still on hold.. still no time to do it 🙂
A list of yummy choices is a great idea. I lovvve Racks! Now I want to do to dinner tonight!
I’m a big fun of racks especially their ribs and onion brick. It’s nice that they are already expanding.
I like when barbeque places have a nice spicy sauce! I’d love to try some of that “Extra Hot” sauce on some barbeque!
I’m not crazy about ribs but my husband is. He would be drooling at the mouth if he seen that picture.
Boy does that sound delicious. I wish they had a location closer to here in Nevada.
We haven’t gone anywhere that sells ribs for a good long while. My husband’s overdue to indulge on a tasty bbq rack. 🙂
My husband would be all over those ribs. Sounds like a great restaurant to go to.
The Philippines has some of the nicest restaurants I realized since I’ve started reading a lot of Filipino bloggers blog. Racks looks so yummy. Wish I lived there ♥
I’ve to check your blog for all the restaurants that you feature here 🙂 I don’t eat ribs but you have a lot of good info in your blog..
I have never heard of Racks, but man, oh man do those baby back ribs look good! I can’t wait until summer!
You really should do a list of your favorite places! That way if I ever manage to visit your neck of the world, I’ll know where to eat at.
haha I love your point #2. Ribs…need a say more! I’m a sucker for ribs myself 🙂
I’m such a foodie. Thanks for sharing this. Those ribs look amazing. Would love to try those.
Since there are 4 of us when we go out, I need a budget friendly place. My son eats a lot so I am glad it can fill him up.
We don’t have the Racks chain here in Ireland. Such a shame though as I can see my other half loving their food.
You have the best restaurants! If my husband lived by you, he might set up camp in RACKS!
I wish we had one of these close by, my husband would be there everyday. He’s suck a meat eater 🙂
I live eating barbecue ribs. I don’t do hot anything, so I’d have to stick to the original flavor.
