Our last mommy blogger for our Mommy blogger entrepreneur series.. none other than Denise Rayala or known as Bebeng of Bebengisms.com
Denise is a hands-on mom to her six-year-old daughter and a phone-dependent military wife. She blogs her recipes, quirks, finds and thoughts on her cyber kingdom while keeping a home, mothering and virtually flirting with her Army kind of guy.
She is now the kitchen boss behind Bebeng’s Kitchen (BK). BK offers totally homemade tasty treats and savory sidekicks.
- Name of Business: Bebeng’s Kitchen
- Contact Details: Inquiries on Bebeng’s Kitchen Facebook Page
- Products: Totally Homemade Sweet Treats (cupcakes, cookies, etc) and Savory Sidekicks (Atsara, Chili Garlic Sauce, Gourmet Tuyo)
Denise confessed that cooking is one of the things that she’s very good at and using this God- given talent to earn extra income won’t feel working at all. “This is cliche but this is also true: Having my own business is being my own boss. If I fail, if I suck, I only have myself to blame. And that makes the whole thing challenging. And rewarding, too because I’m doing great! Woot! Really, there’s no business like food business! What may be yummy for me may not be yummy for everyone. But I’m glad that I have already gained a few loyal foodies. They make my kitchen journey happier,” she added.
You won’t believe this but her initial worries when starting the business is Math! All she wanted to do is cook, bake and sell, the costing and computations gave her headaches fort he first few days. And to overcome this, she reads up on commerce topics online and learned how to price her products.
Can you say you made the right decision of starting your own business?
Denise: Yes. One of the biggest and best decisions I have ever made in my life. There are a little bumps and humps along my new mompreneur road but I’m not going to take a detour, not even going back.
Well, I heard Bebeng’s Kitchen Savory Sidekicks are really good! Specially her Chili Garlic Sauce! I got a taste of her Sweet treats during Mommy Bloggers Philippines Halloween Party and yeeees those are real treats!
Check out her FB page for ordering 🙂

December 27, 2014 at 12:13 amAll looks yummy! May friend ako na nagstart pa lang matutong mag-bake like brownies and cupcake at eventually makapagstart ng business. Nakaka-inspiring na ipagpatuloy yung nasimulan na namin kasi nagkakaproblem din kami sa pricing and everything so dapat pala na may proper training ka din para lumago yung business
