As Japan celebrate Autumn this year, Tokyo Tokyo treated us with an afternoon to remember. It was as if we traveled to Japan to experience the harvest season..
The event was made more special with the presence of my closest blogging friends (and soon to be kumares.. guess who’s pregnant again!)
Of course, in every celebration, there is food.. and Tokyo Tokyo let us experienced the fun of sharing with Sumo2Share meal.
The Sumo2Share meal is Tokyo Tokyo’s signature products. It gives diners freedom to customize their order. For 299 Php or less than 150 PhP per person, diner can combine any of the following: Beef Misono, Pork Tonkatsu, Prawn & Vegetable tempura, Honey Chicken Teriyaki and Chicken Karaage. Aside from the combo, the meal also comes with two servings of rice and two glasses of drinks.
Tokyo Tokyo has been in the country for 29 years already, no wonder they know that sharing is a part of our culture. I am sure that’s one of the reason why Tokyo- Tokyo is now an established name in Pinoy dining. They sure do know their diners!
And because it is Sumo2Share, we have to share of course:
And what comes next with the main course? Dessert of course
Two new exciting Snow Ice flavor was introduced to us!
Mud Pie Snow Ice and Mango Float. Honestly, this is my first time to try Snow Ice and I couldn’t stop scooping on the mud pie snow ice! I can’t wait to bring my kids here.. the mud pie is a must order!
A celebration is never complete without games di ba? Some of the media were called and competed for an Instax camera but one lucky lady shared a Sumo2Share meal with.. none other than, Tokyo Tokyo’s endorser: Daniel Matsunaga:
That’s not the lucky girl who share a meal with him, that’s Nicole Anderson, host of the event 🙂
On this photo, Daniel talks about his recent Sumo2Share date with a fan. Tokyo Tokyo run a contest where in ladies were invited to share on social media their pa -sweet move on Daniel with the Tokyo Tokyo Sumo Meal. The lucky Tokyo Tokyo fan winner was Kim Salin.

December 16, 2014 at 5:16 amWe always eat at Tokyo-Tokyo whenever I crave for a Chicken Karaage. ^^ We’ve tried the Mud Pie Snow Ice once and I loved it, but I think it’s just too much for 2 persons that we weren’t able to finish everything. Thanks for sharing the info about their party trays, I’ll definitely check it out since I’m planning our Christmas Party at the office 🙂

December 17, 2014 at 8:36 amMudpie Snow Ice is a must try! I’ve been in love with foods from Tokyo Tokyo because they have affordable meals (meal for 2 is my fave :D), I can remember when my barkada ate lunch there. But too bad they closed the store in our vicinity. It’s been years, and all I do is visit their store 2 hours drive from home 😛

December 26, 2014 at 11:03 pmI thought i left a comment on this post already 🙁 Anyways, we have Tokyo Tokyo in the vicinity years ago, but then one time, they decided to close it. I dont know. Maybe people don’t consume their products. But I personally love Tokyo2, so I use to travel an hour just to visit the near city and have a plate of their dish. I so love their apple iced tea 😀
