I bought these two lovelies from Walmart a few months ago and last Saturday, 2 boxes of LBC was delivered to us. You wouldn’t believe how my friend (Sati’s godmother) placed all the items in the box. She really is the queen of all packing! Here are the parts of the said toys:
And here’s the finished product after an hour of assembling:
I am really glad that these two toys looked exactly the same as it is on Walmart (photos from Walmart):
This is not our first American Plastic Toys, our first was a small kitchen (you can read about it here). Obviously, I love these brand, why? Because it is really cheap and very easy to assemble, not to mention durable! Soon, I will buy the American Plastic Toys My Very Own Shop N’ Pay Market ($19.87) and American Plastic Toys My Very Own Grill ($19.99). Yes, I am a fan! haha
Yes, the toy is really durable, our first one is turning 2 this year and it looks as if I just bought it last week.
As you have seen from the first two photos, there are so many parts. You might be wondering how on earth I managed to set it up just like that. Oh well, Black&Decker helped me a lot (every mom’s must have! haha). And as I have mentioned, American Plastic Toys are easy to assemble. It comes with a very detailed instruction sheet and the parts are labelled neatly:
I am really amazed how American Plastic Toys were able to come up with their toys, I mean, it is really unbelievable how they came up with the parts and how it will look like when assembled. You have to own one American Plastic Toys to really appreciate the craftsmanship behind these toys.
My kids loved the toys, specially, because both has drawers where they can put their smaller toys. American Plastic Toys Deluxe Work Bench also come with some tools such as hammer, automatic screw driver (which they now call decker, an ode to my B&D automatic screw driver haha), some screws, a cellphone (toy cellphone) and a lot more (which I do not know what it’s called). American Plastic Toys Girls Cookin’ Kitchen comes with kitchen accessories (pots and the liked) and also comes with a plastic phone! COOL!

April 9, 2014 at 9:14 pmCan I admit that I’m glad my kids are beyond this stage? Of course, the drawback with older kids is that when the “toys” break, they’re quite expensive to repair or replace. Lol

April 9, 2014 at 9:42 pmI wish my girls would give me a hands free hour to be able to construct something like this! 🙂
You’re right that durability is really important – looks like these items fit the bill nicely!

April 9, 2014 at 10:36 pmOh my! That is a lot of parts. Congrats on getting it together. That many parts would have deterred me from buying those products I think.
