I grew up with Super Mario.. the very first video game I played (and Pacman too!) Good old days with our Family Computer!
And when hubby considered buying game consoles for the kids, my choice was DS, why? So I can play Super Mario once again..oh boy I am so in love with Super Mario!
Good news for Super Mario fans! McDonal’s Happy Meal is Super Mario!!!! Ayayay!
The photo is from McDonald’s Philippine Facebook Page. Thank you Mommy Levy for the heads up 🙂
McDonald’s Happy Meal Super Mario has 8 designs:
- Boomerang Mario
- Yoshi
- Fire Mario
- Mario with ? block
- Peach
- Mario with Goal Pole
- Mario with Pipe
- Penguin Mario
Of course, I want to collect all and while writing about this, the kids saw the photo and the princess wants the Peach! Funny because we call her Peach sometimes 🙂
McDonald’s Happy Meal has 6 offerings too!
- Chicken Mcdo (Php 108.00, with fries Php 123.00)
- Chicken McNuggets (Php 100.00, with fries Php 116.00)
- Burger Mcdo (Php 74.00, with fries Php 85.00)
- Mc Spaghetti (Php 85.00, with fries Php 100.00)
- 4pc Mini Hotcakes (Php 84.00, with fries Php 99.00)
- Hamdesal (Php 77.00, with fries Php 92.00)
Ahh so in order to complete the McDonald’s Happy Meal Super Mario Set, I need to spend PhP 592.00 (granted that I only buy the cheapest McDonald’s Happy Meal which is Burger Mcdo).
You know now where will be heading for lunch today! haha
——————— 2 hours after posting this and we got a complete set ———————
So I thought I would only be spending 592 PhP..oh boy I was wrong! They want chicken, chicken nuggets and spaghetti! I spend 700+ PhP for the whole set! hahaha
Happy Meal Overload!!
And here’s our McDonald’s Happy Meal Super Mario toys:
As with any Super Mario games, it starts with Mario hitting a mystery box..which makes him bigger, right?
And then Mario fights with Boomerang (Super Mario 3D Land)
Then Mario goes inside the pipe and in another world he becomes:
A penguin Mario! (New Super Mario Bros.)
Aside from freezing his enemy, he can also beat them with Fire (Super Mario Bros.)
And of course, after beating all the enemies and completing a world, a flag is waiting! Tell me, what’s the highest score you got for bringing down the flag?
At some point, Yoshi waits for Mario..
But at the end of it all, Princess Peach waits to be saved.
Waah I miss playing Super Mario!

March 31, 2014 at 7:18 pmWe don’t eat at McDonald’s but if they have a good toy I go through the drive-thru and just pay for the toys. They usually don’t bat an eye so a lot of people must do that! My kids love Mario–they play it on the wii all the time.
