Some of the things I wish I knew/ learned or existed when I first had a baby:
I wish I knew about sling and baby wearing back then. I only learned about the use of sling during my 3rd baby. I can do so many things while wearing the baby.. laundry, wash the dishes (though not that frequent because I really hate doing this)..clean the house etc.. etc.. etc.. and shopping was easy!
I wish I knew about fashionable and stylist maternity clothes back then..
I wish I knew about nursing tops and the likes..
And I wish Baby Apps for New Parents or parents with new baby existed back then..

Ang swerte ng mga bagong nanay ngayon! Every information is within arm’s reach err finger’s reach? Almost everything is a click away! So many tools are available to make motherhood/ parenting easy and here are some Recommended Baby Apps for New Parents from Mommy PRO:
1. Baby Connect
Think of this as your online diary.. I mean your baby. Using Baby Connect, you can record the feeding, nursing, naps, diaper changes, your baby milestones..and not just that, you can also record the baby’s mood, temperature and the games your baby is playing. This is really helpful in tracking your baby’s growth and changes. It will also help new parents in assessing their babies and see if there is something wrong with the baby. With the use of this app, you can easily target the problem and can come up with a solution/ remedy based on the behavior of the baby.
2. Baby Pack & Go / Baby Travel
“I swear I have that feeling that we forgot something”
-that’s my usual monologue every trip.. may nakalimutan ako alam ko.. nafi feel ko talaga! if Baby Pack & Go and Baby Travel existed before, I could have save myself from worrying too much!
Baby Pack & Go and Baby Travel is like your mini travel organizer. You can access ready made packing list and you can create different for multiple children! Hmmm.. I think I will have to give this app a try.. specially that this year, we plan to travel more!
3. Guys Guide to the Delivery Room
There are absolutely no typos on that title. Wake the dad-to-be up, Mommy PRO! This one is definitely for him.
Hey Daddies! It’s about time you get involved and not just impatiently at the hospital corridor!
Here are some of the things you can learn from this app:
- stages of labor and what to expect
- how to provide comfort to your wife during labor
- what you should bring (for you)
- and yes, a lot more!
4. Baby Sign and Learn
Crying can be frustrating.. specially to new parents, when it is hard to “decode” what your baby needs. Baby Sign and Learn will help you with teaching your baby how to communicate with your through signs and not through crying.
5. Baby Monitor
This app is what all new parents need! Monitoring your baby even you’re out of the room and alarming you when the baby cries.. isn’t it amazing? A lot of other features was added to this app,so check it out and see for yourself 🙂

How about you mommies? What are the things you wish you knew/ learned/ existed when you first had a baby?
can’t wait to hear your story!
This app is absolutely a must have for every household with kids. Having this would definitely be of great assistance to parents, especially those who have a very busy schedule. Thank you for sharing! xx
Love, Angela Ricardo
This definitely helps in taking care of a baby and securing them through the baby monitor.
Wow, I never knew times can be much easier with the help of these apps – nice one!
Yay I love this list and gonna try this out I’m a 1st Time mom 🙂 thanks for sharing
Ditto! I wish they had those kinds of smart apps when I got pregnant many moons ago. The only modern gadget I had then was the Graco Baby Monitor and that was it. But look at the number of apps, gadgets, resources available to new parents these days.
Helpful apps! How I wish meron na nito noon. 🙂
Mommies sure had it easy these days! Eight years ago, I had to check on baby center on why my left breast is hurting like crazy and hard like stone (mastitis) plus other breastfeeding matters using my tiny nokia phone (wala pang smart phone noon).I racked up a large bill by the way (I cant even remembe if that phone had wifi )
These apps are no doubt helpful for any parents, nice share.
Awww I’m going to show this to one of my friends who is currently pregnant 😀
I honestly can’t wait ’til I have a baby hahah
Thanks for sharing. Yup swerte ng mga mommies today. I never used an app when I was on the pregnancy stage but bought a book on sign language.
Nice app! may I know the OS supported of the mobile app?
I have kids ages 12, 11 and almost 3. So, you can see the gap between the 2nd and 3rd child. There are definitely a lot of new things that were not available back when I had my first two kids. I hated the old school type of maternity clothes then. I also had to rely on pregnancy books and there were only few choices. Now, there are so many sources online and thru apps too! Thanks for sharing these new apps.
Ang galing! I’ll use that app pag na-preggy ulit ako..
malapit na ba?!? hihi
Wish ko lang..hahahaha
How I wished the baby apps existed when I had my child. It would have been a lot easier for first timers like myself.
this is pretty useful! 😀
I don’t think Baby Connect will work for me. It’s too much work. Haha! My favorite app back when my toddlers were infants is Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. It worked wonders when I needed to calm them down or put them to sleep! Plus, it doesn’t only play the song. Now that they’re toddlers, they can play with the other features~ like the memory game, puzzles, star maze, coloring book.
As for the things I wish I knew, with our first, I wish I knew about the benefits of breastfeeding then. I mean, my OB and K’s pedia told me that breastfeeding is good, but it was never really explained and I never asked (my mistake). I wasn’t part of any mommy groups then, too, so I had no support. I ended up giving up on breastfeeding by the 4th day.
Baby connect is a good way to keep track of your baby’s needs and progress. This is good.
I don’t have a baby yet, so I have no use for these apps. Although, the baby connect seems useful. What about the baby monitor? Does it mean there has to be a phone near the baby too?
This blog help me when i have baby again hehe, i have 1 son and his 10years old now i am hoping to have a baby again but for now not yet because Life is hard.
aww that’s sweet!
Thanks for sharing Mommy Pehpot, although I don’t have kid of my own its still useful, I can tell about this app to my siblings,so they can use it on my nephews and nieces.
Wow…why is it only now? ahahhahah…I am old school but not that much! But surely, this app help but none compared to a always on the look out nanay we have during the days of olds. Just missing my Nanay!
Nice apps..atleast I know this one,Hope soon I can have my own baby!hehehe
Helpful it is! Sana lang meron nito nung maliliit pa ang kulilits…abay malalaki pa sa akin ngayon e.
aba eh di magbulilit ulit! hahaha
i lke the baby signs apps.very helpful yan lalo na sa kids na starting pa lang to talk.
