It’s been four years of pure happiness and bliss.. she really made our life complete and we can’t help but give in to her whims. Pede ba namang hindi? hahaha
So when she said, oh no.. I mean, when she planned her 4th birthday party and how it should go, we had to make it happen!
Cake should be Barbie
Venue: Tagaytay
We should decorate the room and wake her up and surprise her with the decors, cakes and so on..Â
Detailed party and she’s only four! I can’t imagine what will happen when she turns 7, malamang ang gagawin ko na lang eh maglabas ng pera at siya na bahala sa party nya hahaha
Booking for a nice hotel in Tagaytay was not easy. I know there’s a lot of hotels in Tagaytay but I want a hotel with a pool and a playground and not to mention affordable. My first option was Taal Vista (err minus the affordable criteria haha) but it was fully booked for the date that we need it. Hotel Kimberly Tagaytay comes next when you look for Tagaytay Hotel with playground but it was fully booked too (our chosen date was Nov 9-10).. realizing that we can’t have a hotel on the date that we want, we moved it to November 8-9.. and we’re set for Hotel Kimberly, Tagaytay (review of the hotel coming soon!)
Next on the list: the cake (Barbie fondant cake), decors and some party favors..
For her cake, there’s only one name that comes in mind.. Ava’s Cake! eh bakit hindi, we loved the Hello Kitty they did for Sati’s 3rd birthday.. bakit pa kame kukuha ng iba? even if the cake comes from Ilocos..sulit (umm aside from the fact na bias talaga ako sa mga tiga UP LOL #schoolpride! hahaha)
For the party favors, we had mallows, french macarons (ordered online), pretzels and some pink and white candies. And for the decors, well, in a span of 3 days, pinag tiyagaan ko aralin kung paano gumawa ng flower pom balls and added a twist to her S letter using decorated paper tapes from Stuffify.
And here’s the result of one week preparation for Sati’s 4th birthday party:
Eto ang kwento behind that table of surprise..
the table, we brought it along.. and the “tutu” table cloth, we made it ourselves.. when we arrived in Tagaytay, it was almost dinner time. We had our early dinner at The Grill (by Antonio’s>another review coming up) and we were stranded for an hour or so.. it was raining hard and zero visibility!
We arrived at the hotel past dinner time and I know the hotel has an indoor play room.. I told them to play at the indoor play room while I “decorate” the room for Sati’s party.. and after an hour, it’s ready!
And here’s the little prinsesa with her matching outfit.. which was not planned..it so happens that her ninang Liz from the US sent this dress to her.. sumakto di ba? nagmukha tuloy bonggang bonnga ang party ng dalaga namin 🙂Â
Pero after a minute, hinubad na ung dress nya at nagpalit na ng pants and her favorite yellow shirt 🙂
The fun continues the next morning..
At kahit bumabagyo, hindi rin nagpapigil ang mga bagets na mag swimming! At dahil ready ang nanay, Vitamins muna bago mag swimming sa mala yelong pool LOL
I boost muna ang immune system with Ceelin before swimming. Whenever we travel, I always make sure na we have Ceelin Chewebles on our bag (very convinient to bring at ipainom sa mga bata eh)
After checking out at Hotel Kimberly, we had lunch at Carlo’s Pizza:
they serve the best Buffalo wings! waaaaah this resto is now on our Tagaytay list (along with Hotel Kimberly and The Grill by Antonio’s)
On the way home, balak sana namin huminto sa The Original Buko Pie in Sta Rosa pero Pagoda Coldwave lotion na ang peg namin.. Hagarda much! I still need to read about flip door at ovisonline.com.
The little girl seems very happy and satisfied with her party.. so I guess, it’s a job well done for me!

November 28, 2013 at 9:42 amAwww… you’re baby is growing up to be such a lovely lady! And yes, good luck on her 7th birthday. It’s possible that she’ll be the party planner again, and you the financer. 😛 Anyway, you did a great job with the decorations. 🙂 Oh, and I’ll check out Hotel Kimberly. We were in Tagaytay just this weekend. And our chosen hotel really did not deliver as we hoped it would..
