I usually don’t attend events at night..unless if it is a sponsored event or I really love the agency inviting me to attend the said event..or if the venue is really near.. well in the case of Savor Bloggers Night, I have two reasons to attend: I love the agency and the venue is really near me.. isang kembot lang!
As promised, it was a night of amazing food, fun games, prizes and more..
Let’s start with the food..
“SAVOR Filipino Cuisine was born out of a shared desire amongst its founders to brings classic recipes to a young generation of Pinoy-food-loving diners. Partners Mel Dumlao, Racquel Estrella, Owen Gan and Executive Chef Trina Tiaoqui-Imperial were inspired not just by their love of Filipino food but also their love of making, sharing and celebrating our local cuisine.” -Mr. Owen Gang (one of the owners)
Boneless Chicken Inasal
Smoked Sardine Efuven
Crab and Shrimp Relleno
Cowboy Sisig.. that’s cow + baboy sisig.. this dish really stands out, well for me.. because I love sisig and I never thought that beef and pork would make a good sisig together. This dish alone, makes me want to bring my family to Savor and let them experience Cowboy sisig.
Crispy Binagoongan is also good.. the bagoong is not that salty..Savor makes their own bagoong for this dish. It’s my first time to eat crispy binagoongan and I really like it..feels like eating lechon kawali and binagoongan.
Sa pula sa puti is a combination of chicken meat and pork meat, cooked as adobo without the soy sauce.
For desserts, we had these two treats.. sans rival and miruya with ice cream (not sure with the name)..Miruya with ice cream is really good..I can’t wait to order this when I bring the kids here.
FUN GAMES!
because Savor is a Filipino Cuisine restaurant, our games was all about Pinoy movies… we also got to try some of their specialty dish and we have to list down the ingredients that we tasted..
wagas talaga ang tawa ko no.. at serious sa food tasting test LOL
