OK, let’s try a recap of my 2012..
Looking back at my old posts, the first part of year 2012 was all about discovering things. Started a new routine with my new found friends, colored my hair for the second time (the first one was way back 2001), renewed my passion for DIY crafts and party favors and got a few high paying task for my blogs.
The first quarter of 2012 also served as my wake up call, as I discovered that I had kidney problems. Knowing that, it helped me to be what I am right now, healthier and yes, slimmer! I became more conscious of what I eat and started taking care of my body. My journey to being fit started the first quarter of the year.
Second quarter was almost all about events, it was summer! And I had almost all the time in the world all for myself. It was all about gardening and doing a few more crafts on the side. Later part of the year, I finally succumbed to the idea of having a house helper. You know I never really liked dish washing and I can’t even have a dishwasher because we are still renting. But believe me, I tried. I even went as far as researching about frigidaire dishwasher parts and everything about dishwasher and entertained the idea of asking my landlord if we can install one. Apparently, we cannot. Luckily, I got a stay out helper that was OK with my terms. I only need a helper, after lunch onward, and I got what I want.
Of course the highlight of the year was when I got invited to be part of C-lium’s Lose More, Live More Bloggers Edition. It was a very enlightening experience. It also paved way to me being a commercial talent, OK model (up until now, I still get high thinking about that hahah). May I just tell you that it is SO NOT ME. Never in my life I dreamed of being on TV (yeah same as blogging, never did I imagine myself writing, or making a living out of writing, heck! I even failed a few communication subjects when I was in college.) and there I was, sitting, waiting for my scene. I almost back out during our shoot. It’s not my thing. But it was SO MUCH FUN! I mean not being on TV and all but being able to inspire people to live more and be healthier. I am a living proof that in order to live more, you have to be healthier!
But you know what’s the biggest blessing I received last year? My family! Their love was just too much for me. I spend every night with so much gratitude in my heart. I have been blessed with the sweetest, most supportive family, more than I deserve. And because of them and all the things that happened to me last year, indeed 2012, is a year to remember!
This year, I am so ready to make another fruitful year with my love ones.
How about you?
