A new kitchen opens at Bonifacio Global City, with it’s bright walls with a California- inspired interior, who would miss California Pizza Kitchen at 30th street corner 9th avenue at BGC?
With it’s new interiors comes new great offerings this year:
Anchovy Pizza, a thin crust pizza topped with crumbled anchovy fillets, sliced fresh tomato, garlic and fresh Mozzarella with Neapolitan sauce. As you can see in the photo above, the pizza was served with lemons, because you need a squeeze of that to balance out the saltiness in the anchovies. It was really salty without the lemon but a few squeeze and it is good to go. If you’re not a lemon fan, try ordering Anchovy Pizza with Asparagus & Spinach Spaghettini, it’s a perfect match.
California Pizza Kitchen also introduced calzones such as the Italian Sausage and Pepperoni. It has mozzarella and marinara sauce, served with roasted garlic bulb. I tell you, this is a must try and don’t forget to use the roasted garlic, it adds a sweet taste to the calzone.
Their sandwich offerings now includes CPK’s own Cheese Steak Sandwich:
CPK’s own Cheese Steak Sandwich uses USDA tender steak strips sauteed with button mushrooms, yellow onions, Mozarella and Queso Quesadilla Cheese. I;m sure my beef junky husband will love this sandwich.
As for desserts, CPK features, Caramel Banana Tart and Caramel Hazelnut Cake, we had Caramel Hazelnut Cake and Mango cake during the media launch:
Both desserts are tasteful and a must try.
CPK is also launching the Holiday Party Meal. Mix and match your pizza (pepperoni, Hawaiian, five cheese and fresh tomato) with family sized pastas (Spaghettini Vongole, Tomato Basil Spaghettini or Spaghettini Bolognese) for only P995. This also comes with a free carrot cake and Coke 1.5 L. I must say that this meal is perfect even for brainstorming meetings. The Holiday Party Meal is available until January 6, 2013 and is valid for take out and delivery orders only.

December 8, 2012 at 10:13 amMy first taste of California Kitchen was not really the most impressive. Why I never went back since. But those desserts look inviting. Might have to try their other dishes. 🙂
