I am not fond of battery operated toys, simply because, when the battery runs out, you have to buy another battery or the toy is useless. I am just being practical. I know I can just buy rechargeable battery but the point is without batteries, the toy is useless.. in essence, bibili ka na nga ng laruan, bibili ka pa ng batterya.. doble gastos!
But that’s hard to explain to the kids, so from time to time, they would ask for battery operated toys.. and more often than not, they get a NO from me 🙂
Then there was this toy they saw.. and they kept on telling me that I should buy it.. and again, I asked them, is it a battery operated toy? they said no, it’s not and it is stated on the packaging..
Boy number 2 blurted out: It says BATTERIES NOT INCLUDED!
toinks! hahahaha

October 21, 2012 at 11:46 amhahahaha… battery not included pala not “not battery operated toys.” I hear you mommy. Those darn batteries are expensive and if you buy the cheap ones they don’t last that long. Waist of money. My kid does not care much about battery-operated toys. Infact, he knows exactly what he likes and he has love for trains, tractors and cars. It does not have to be battery-operated. He in fact loves it when he gets to push it around or operate it. 🙂 Kids love their toys so much.

October 21, 2012 at 8:08 pmMost of the toys of my daughter were battery operated, that’s why sometimes those toys without battery were left unused.
It is also battery operated,it only states that there are no available battery inside of the toy they are selling. hahahaha.
