I had my first color in 2001.. my hair is very manageable, straight and shiny, no need for rebonding and even hot oil. The only treatment it had was the hair color in 2001. Then I turned 30 early this year and felt the need for a change. I colored my hair once again, my almost virgin hair. I love the new hair color and I get a lot of compliments. I intend to keep it that way.. then it dawned to me, too much hair treatment might damaged my hair..
So for months, I let my hair just like that.. showing its roots and screaming for a new treatment! And last week, I finally made up my mind to go for another color and just see where it would lead my hair.
And just when I thought I had to endure another hair color with so much worries on my mind, I was offered to try a STAR TREATMENT and MLV Hair Color at Azta Salon ! Oh my, it’s my lucky day!
The Star Treatment is a Lycopene treatment formulated by Chihtsai, a brand that Jennifer Lopez and Korean actor Lee Byung-Hun uses. I think, that’s the reason why it’s called star treatment. And yes, you read it right, LYCOPENE! never thought that Lycopene is also good for hair no? me too!
Chihtsai Star Treatment: Lycopene Hair Treatment is the perfect pre- & post-color / colored hair treatment, it is enriched with Lycopene to help protect hair from UV rays and free radicals, helping to reverse and prevent free radical damage. The treatment helps to protect and maintain your hair color.
Moreover, the product also includes Hybrid Sunflower Oil to leave the hair cuticle smooth, shiny & protected; Hydrolized Wheat Peptides to strengthen the hair shaft & reduce hair fall; and Collagen which reduces porosity of the hair. Hair that has high porosity means that cuticles are wide open so hair is damaged; while low porosity means that the cuticles are too compact so it is resistant to colors and perms. Lycopene hair treatment helps hair achieve a healthy normal balanced porosity.
The product is also infused with mint for a refreshing feel on the scalp.
The Chihtsai Lycopene Treatment is a revolutionary service that recharges your hair by both repairing and protecting from further damage.
Azta Urban Salon at Eastwood is nearest to me, so I had my service at the said salon. It was located at Eastwood Citywalk 2, near Cha Time and 7 Eleven.
As I enter the salon, I was greeted by the friendly receptionist Mel and was guided to my seat. As I was wait for the stylist, I was offered a drink (coffee, milk tea etc), of course I had old milk tea 🙂
Mr. Jo, my stylist, was very thorough with my treatment. I asked him what color should I get for my hair and as you can see, he’s busy comparing colors! I love how it turned out and according to him he used 2 colors(medium ash blonde and dark ash blonde, if my memory serves me right) and a bronzer.
After the hair color (which lasted for an hour or so) my hair was in for the STAR TREATMENT: Chihtsai Lycopene Treatment
So what’s my new hair color and how was the treatment?
It compliments my skin very well! And as you can see, hair is shinier and looking better!
Here’s another shot, front naman:
I noticed that my hair is softer too… well I have to see in the coming days if it will stay the same and will dries out..but so far, I am loving every strand! Thank you Azta Salon for giving me the STAR TREATMENT!
