as mentioned in my last gardening update, my Okra’s flowering.. not really flowers but you know tiny buds that will eventually grow into flower.. and today.. TADA!
I am one happy gardener!
I said that I will be buying bigger pots and I did. Last week, I braved Divisoria to buy uniforms and other school supplies and of course to buy bigger pots. Here, bigger pots would cost me 45 pesos each or more than a dollar each. I knew I can buy the same pots at Divisoria at a lesser price.
Plastic pots and other plastic supplies wholesalers can be found at the back of Divisoria Mall (along Commercio street).. from Divisora street vendors, pots are priced at 35 PhP each, from the wholesalers, it’s 25 PhP each. That’s a huge savings! I bought 24 pots.
Finally transferred the chili plant to the bigger pot:
And because Chinese Kangkong’s very useful, I plant some more.. this time, I plant it straight to the bigger pots:
Trellis for my sigarilyas.. those are kawayan stick from the pabitin that we used from birthdays.. talk about recycling 🙂 hihi
I bought more seeds after I bought the pots.. bought string beans that I planted outside. I also bought a few more okra and eggplant and Chinese Kangkong (sprouts above).
Some of my eggplants are sick, will have to bu the organic pest control I saw at Megamall a few weeks ago..
Now…where can I buy more soil?
