Tuesday is my Parenting day..err let me rephrase that (I am a parent 24/7), what I mean is, Tuesday is parenting day here on my blog. It is the time of the week where I post parenting tips and advice. And so I realized, Tuesday is the best time to give you a glimpse of what Mommy Bloggers like me loves to write and talk about…
When I was a young kid, I often question my moms decision, such as, no playing after 6, do assignments first before playing and so on. Though I never hate my mom, I knew I had given so much disappointment with her, and I have to agree with Pinaymama, you can never understand parenthood unless you become one yourself.
And for those who’s on the way.. or trying to be, Sam’s Eating while pregnant article is a must read! As she puts it: “Don’t forget, pregnant or not, it is always best to eat in moderation. Eat lots of fruits and vegetables as you can never go wrong with those. Natural, unprocessed food will always be THE BEST CHOICE. ”
Why is my 2 year old not talking? Is there something I need to do? Is it normal? If you think you’re kid’s development is delayed, read Levy’s post on early intervention and know how important it is and different types of early intervention programs.
Summer is all about swimming! It’s fun to splash on water, specially on super hot days! And I’m sure a lot of moms want to enroll their kid (s) to a swimming lesson this summer. But how old is safe enough for a lesson? And what are the basics of swimming? Kat’s toddler just had a taste of swimming water from her drown proofing lesson.
And with the very hot weather, we all know that our kids are very prone to coughs and colds (mostly due to excessive sweating), Nicquee’s tips on how to prevent coughs and colds this summer is just perfect!
Summer is all about activities too! And a better way to spend your summer is have NO GADGETS DAY! give your gadgets a rest and go have some fun, check out my article on about kids and gadgets : what your kids can do without gadgets.

May 2, 2012 at 4:19 pmWhen I was young, I always hate my mom because lagi sya nag sasabing NO kapag gusto ko ng ganyan or ganito. But later on, narealize ko she has her reasons kung bakit nya ginagawa yun. Super agree ako na we can never understand our parents until we become one. 🙂

May 2, 2012 at 10:11 pmI am thinking about swimming lessons too for my little boy but I think he is not yet ready for that. I still remember how my parents protected me when I am a kid and now that I am a mom, I will do some of their ways in a better discipline.
