Have you noticed already? oh no don’t tell me you haven’t??? Well actually, I have been trying to make things a bit more organized here.. so I have been trying really really hard to set topic each day, say every Wednesday is supposedly a product of the week day.. in which I will post about some of the products that I discovered or products that we have been using for years and really deserves to be featured here.. well it seems 4 kids and a thousand house hold chores will not let me follow the said post scheduling.. and supposedly this post has been published last Wednesday,, and only now that I had the time to do it and try the product..
So for my product of the week, here it is:
During the Parentin TV 2nd anniversary celebration, Tintin Bersola- Babao introduced to us to Smart Steps, a baby cleaning products. The product line includes Baby Laundry Detergent, mild and safe, no dyes, no bleach and no optical brightness. It also includes Baby Fabric Softener (mild and safe, fresh linen scent and no artificial colorant) and Baby Bottle Cleanser (easy rinse formula, no phosphate and no dyes). We were given a bag each that includes powder detergent, liquid detergent and bottle cleanser.
The bottle cleanser I tried a few days ago. It was a clear liquid, consistency is not that thick. It smells like a bubble gum.. though not that really strong. As per the instruction, you need to dilute it in water and soak the bottle and nipples (and other baby items) for about 30 minutes. Then use a brush and sponge to clean the items then rinse. When I used it, I noticed that it is very easy to rinse and does not leave any smell on the bottle.
The liquid detergent and the powder detergent smells the same, not too strong but has a hint of Jasmine. I used it yesterday for Sati’s clothes. It’s not that bubbly but it sure does clean the clothes, judging from the smell after washing it. Today, some of her clothes are already dry, I asked my sister to smell it and she said that it really smells clean and fresh.
Next week, I will feature the malungay powder that I usually put on their fried rice. It’s a powder that was also introduced to us during the Parentin.TV aniversary..swerte talaga I was invited to that event, as in! I learned a lot and at the same time I learned some great products for us.
I am really trying to be organized here.. and I actually want products feature to be organized too, like 1st week of the month devotes to baby products, 2nd week is for mommy products, 3rd week is for food products, 4th week is for household items and if there is an extra week, it can be for miscellaneous like insurance or annuities online or gadgets. I really wish I can follow this post scheduling scheme.. but if I can’t, I hope you put up with my crazy posting 🙂
EDIT: Smart Steps are available in Rustans/Shopwise, Landmark Supermarket and Dept Store, SM Hypernarket, SM Supermarkets, Savemore, Cash & Carry, Unimart and Alabang Supermarket.

September 24, 2011 at 9:13 pmI also tried to be organized and have a set theme for my blog for everyday/ever week, but alas, my work schedule is getting in the way of my blogging.. 🙁 For now, I have no choice but keep up with my boss’ demands because I am saving up for something in November (PMC EB!).. 😀
Anyway, I use the chicco brand of baby bottle cleanser, it works the same way, but it is a bit pricey, is the smart steps brand affordable? Do let me know.. 🙂
