Last year, we attended the dedication of the Boy Scout and Girl Scout of my kids’ school. My son is Grade 1 and he was not included on the dedication but we were advised that the Grade 1 pupils are already candidates as boy scout.
In the said event, I heard (and confirmed) that Pasig City Boy scouts are now entitled to health benefits. This includes refunds when they are hospitalized. All they need to do is to bring their boy scout ID, the medical certificate and the hospital receipt to the main office of Pasig City BSP. Although it was not mentioned to me how much the refund or the coverage would be, I think it is a big help.
I wonder when Girl Scout of the Philippines will have this kind of benefits. Do you think payment for diet pills that work will be covered too? Specially if a girl scout’s health really requires her to take one? I wonder too, how much they will cover for GSP (girl scout of the Philippines), will it be the same as the BSP? I hope it would be or even higher.
