With so many warehouse sale happening this season, most of us are trying to fit our budget with things we needed to buy for the holiday and things we want to buy. Warehouse sales usually happen in November to December every year. Some of the most anticipated warehouse sale includes, Richwell warehouse sale (importers of toys like Barbie, Hot Wheels, Mega Blocks and a lot more), Gingersnaps Warehouse Sale, Bench Warehouse Sale. Other sales like Crocs sale, Mega Brands sale, Adidas Sale are also anticipated during this season.
But since this blog is not a shopping blog, I will focus this post on warehouse sales that is of interest of many parents. Toys and children clothes.
Here is a short Guide On Warehouse Sales Shopping for parents:
- DO NOT bring your kids when going to warehouse sales. Most warehouse sales doe snot have good ventilation or if they do have, there are more people here than you can imagine. Imagine how hot and uncomfortable the place would be. Other than that, when you bring your kids along, for sure, you will end up buying all the things they asked you to. Or if not, you’ll end up with head ache for trying to stop them as they go wild over a toy.
- Bring CASH, and bring just the amount you are willing to spend. Most warehouse sale does not offer credit card payment. So to keep you out of the hassle, be prepared to bring cash.
- Be EARLY. long lines. That’s the main advantage of being there early. You got to shop while there are less people and you got to pay with less lines. Though in some warehouse sale (like richwell) Friday around 2 PM is the best time to shop.
- Wear comfortable dress, shorts and sando would be better (and they allow that on warehouses). Bring a fan for yourself and water (though you have to leave it outside) and some crackers if you want. Most warehouses are located in a place where your usual food establishments are not there (read: tuktuk ng timbuktu). To prevent from having a stomach ache from buying a food to an unknown vendor, bring your own chichars na lang.
- BRING YOUR OWN BAG. and this goes for saving our planet. I know you’ll hoard all the toys you can have this sale season or all the clothes that still fits to your kid and with that you will be using a lot of plastic bags. Why use plastic bags when you can just throw all your stuff in a katsa bag? (which inspire to make my own BIG eco bag specially for sales.. ASS? adik sa sale LOL)
- Spend wisely. And though it is tempting to buy a dress that is 4 years ahead of your kids age, don’t! Come on, by that time, that dress won’t be that cute anymore. got the point?
I said short so I’ll stop it here.
Happy Shopping!
