Although today is my Tags and Awards post day, let me excuse my blog for a while to observe the UNDAS tradition.
Since I cannot visit any cemetery now.. this post is like a candle in every tomb.
One candle is for grandfather who passed away last 2007. I think of all his grand kids, I was the one dearest to his heart. I grew up sleeping in their room. We jogged almost every morning. I cannot say he was the greatest grandfather but I can say that I learned a lot from him. (and when he was on his death bed, he offered me a bomb.. which is unusual but I think it was one way of him saying that it’s OK to let go now)
Another candle is for my dearest friend who went away last 2001. He was my confidante and my big brother. He was always there to cheer me up and wakes me up when I needed a dose of reality. It was a long time ago but still, I imagine what it’s like to see him again.
And another one for all the sacrificed lives of my heroes.
