Since I had my DSLR, it has been my dream to go to a local wet market and capture the action and the rawness of what’s in store. Hubby made it possible last week. After our NIDO Fortified Science Discovery Center experience, we went to the nearest food haven in Pasay. I am not sure what they call this place but it is very near Mall of Asia, about a kilometer away I guess. Anyway, in this food haven, you have a choice of doing your own wet market shopping, bring it to a restaurants and have them cook the food. They have cooking charge of course. There are a lot of restaurants on the area and I guess it is safe to assume that they charge appropriately.
And so, there is a small market just a few steps away from the restaurants. I was really happy that hubby said it’s OK to bring my cam along. I had fun taking photos of fish, shrimps and the like. I did not get to see the “wet market action” as the place is not as busy as a real wet market. It was great nonetheless.

August 22, 2009 at 3:44 pmAre you talking of the one along Macapagal Boulevard? Is it the Dampa, where there are a lot of restaurants that would cook the food that you bought from the nearby wet market?
