One of my kid’s favorite dish. My kids are veggie lovers. They can eat anything from string beans to broccoli and carrots. If I can make a bitter gourd dish without the bitterness they would gladly eat it too. Back to this dish, as I have said I am no good on recipes and would usually device my own. To make this dish all you need is pork and string beans. Cook first the pork in vinegar, crushed garlic and freshly ground pepper until tender. When it’s done, saute it in garlic, onion and soy sauce then add the string beans. Put the fire in very low and cover, leave it for 10 minutes and check it from time to time. Add some water when it’s starting to dry up. When the string beans are soft enough, add some water if you want then add some freshly ground black pepper.

May 26, 2009 at 10:14 pmWow yummy. Now I think I'm going to look for string beans and cook this. It's one of my favorites too and I love it more with kangkong (onchoy).
