I really like blog hopping and reading about someone, their daily rants, their success, about their recent occasions or just anything about showbiz and current events or just plain jokes. Blog hopping expose me to different kind of people/bloggers. I find it very educational to learn about people, through their experiences. But sometimes, there are things in the net that is just plain trashing. I am not immune to it either, I do love talking about showbiz personalities and their antics. But there are pages that can really hurt somebody’s feeling.. I wonder how this people cope up, the one they are trashing about. And what made it worse is the comment section. It is like adding salt to injury. Then I wonder, what these (the one trashing) people are made of? At the end of the day, when I turned off the PC, as I lay down, tickling my kids, hearing their laughter, I fully understood what made this people trash other people.
The Logic Behind His Last Module
That was a bit techie huh? As promised, here is my Monday post about the guy.
You will know when the guy is busy, he dreams of his code.. Yup. Just like the other night, he suddenly screamed while Mico kicks him, “the logic! the logic!”. Sometime he would utter words beyond my understanding, words that only programmers knew..
And so busy that you would often hear him say, “this is my last module” or ” there’s a bug I need to fix”.
While Chico would love to play with him, er, tinker his laptop, he would say the magic phrase:
Last Module na to Mommy..
and yes, our sex life is suffering too.lol
don’t tell him I wrote about him (so busy, no time to lurk here and click on my ads hehe)
Yes, Crazy. An Update On Globelines
After my experiences with Globelines Hotline, I decided it’s time to gather some data and see for myself, is it just me? is the world conspiring against my connection? Is it mercury retrograde to me very single day?
And so after they gave another number, I tried calling it again but to no avail. Now I thought why I don’t I inquire on some of their subscribers regarding their broadband service and their costumer care support. I started dialling numbers randomly, er, not that random because I just used our land line number as a base.. I just altered the last digit.. he he..
The results are here, out of the five numbers I called, 4 of them says their Internet connection is a problem. Only 1 out 5 can testify that it is kinda hard to call their hot line. The other 4 says, they experienced calling technical support but not in the last few days.
I even tried calling them on strange hours of the day, yeah like 7 PM, 11 PM, 2 AM, even at 6 in the morning. Finally, at around 8 or so in the morning, my call was accepted.
I really have to commend the one who take my call, Josan Paquiz, who was very apologetic about their system and their incompetence. She scheduled a technical visit on our site..
Days after, the connection is a bit better, according to Tomtom (what a name), another technical support rep, the problem was on their box or something and that they are still trying to fix it.
Now, my connection is OK, not that fast but my problem regarding intermittent connection has lessen.
