Just got back from my ream photo shoot. Yup, it’s the procession that is held during black Friday. as I have mentioned earlier, I am fascinated by it. I still have to sort out hundred of photos and upload the best ones. For sure, I will spend more time on the net figuring out the best photos. And surely, I will have to stay awake even at night just to finish this small project of mine. Acne is least on my problem because of iQ derma, I can focus on my photos and be acne free. I am planning to print it out and have my first photo book. I really had fun taking photos.
Busy Friday
As you know, this week is a very busy week. It’s Holy Week here in the Philippines. This is one of my favorite occasion not because of religion but because of art’s sake. This week means a lot of subject to capture. From Palm Sunday to Easter Sunday. My DSLR will have a blast and actually as of the moment, she is having the time of her life.
Later we will go to my grandmother’s house to watch the procession. We were there yesterday and all of them agreed that I need to diet soon. Good thing I found some cheap adipex on the net. Later though, I will be shedding off fats because I will be super duper busy taking photos of the said procession. Wish me luck!
LP: Kick Off
This week’s theme for my Thursday meme (hmm sounds so good) LP is Simula Pa Lang or kick off.yay! I love this theme. It gives a certain promise that everything is going to be smooth. (why I am so poetic?ugh)So for this theme I present you this torch. This is taken last Black Saturday. Traditionally (or Biblically or historically) a mass on Black Saturday is held. This is one of my favorite Holy Week mass. The overwhelming feeling of something big is about to start is so, well, overwhelming. There is not a single mass (hat I attended on my past life) that I was not filled with excitement and emotion for this event. This mass signals the start of a new life. The church was dimmed and closed before the mass starts. Outside the church a bonfire (or a small fire in this case) was lit. Then people would lit their light form that fire. They would open the church and start the mass. During the mass also, water and all kinds of lighting material was blessed with Holy water. I’m sorry if I can’t explain it well to you guys, I am not on Theology and so. This is just based on my childhood experiences and Saturday Masses I attended then.
