What my kids are like, and how to raise your child/children in this day and age.

Fun Ranch Big Ball Pit Party

May is a happy month. It’s my husband’s birthday and also my 3rd son’s birthday. We usually have a celebration by the beach. This year is different though, husband is out of the country until June (juice colored!!). I am looking for an activity that my kids will enjoy and in a way relieve them from the stress of LDR. They adore their dad, super love their dad. And the birthday boy worships his dad. He is so sad that his dad won’t be here on his birthday.

Good thing, Fun Ranch is so near! And they just added another kind of fun! Say hello to Fun Ranch Ball Pit:

So yeah, my May boy celebrant had his 9th birthday party here, complete with food, fun activities and well, a little side trip to the grocery.

Fun Ranch Big Ball Pit is inside the Playdium at Fun Ranch Ortigas. It’s a pit full of balls! 10,000 colorful balls to be exact and more than 10,000 fun. Entrance to Fun Ranch Big Ball Pit is 150 Pesos per hour if it is weekdays and 200 pesos per hour if it is weekend. It’s cheaper if your kids are going to play at Playdium. Unlimited play at the Playdium with one hour Ball Pit is only 400 and 500 on weekends.

What I love most about Fun Ranch is the food (sorry naman!). Lalo na their fried chicken..ang saraaaaap! And the spaghetti too! Here are the food that we had:

That Pork BBQ is super delicious, sauce pa lang ulam na!!

Aside from Playdium and Big Ball Pit, kids can also enjoy unli rides and JumpYard at Fun Ranch. For more info and ticket prices, check out Fun Ranch Facebook Page. For birthday party packages rate and promos, Fun Ranch branches and other offers, check out Fun Ranch website page.

SM Stationery Is The Best Back-To-School Shop

Having 4 students in the house is not a walk in the park. Let’s not start with the tuition fee ok? Let’s just talk about the school supplies and other back to school needs! I do love shopping, you know that, and I am always excited to shop for new notebooks, pencils and pens (even though it’s not mine). I love shopping but not with my 4 students. Magulo kaya at maingay. Last year was a different story though, I finally learned how to master the act of back-to-school shopping! I give them a list and I wait at the cashier. And now that I have learned about convenience that is SM Stationery, this year will be even better.

SM City East Ortigas recently opened and we’ve been going there ever since. It’s one of our favorite mall. I feel at home sa mall na yan. I let my kids roam around by themselves. I feel safe inside this particular mall and I know most of the establishments there. So it’s not a surprise that I am already planning our back-to-school shopping here. From how it looks, I am confident that back-to-school shopping will be a breeze this year. And here are 5 reasons why:

5 Reasons Why SM Stationery Is The Best Back-To-School Shop

Reason #1. SM Stationery is a one-stop-shop for all our back-to-school needs.

What are the top 5 back to school needs?

  1. School Supplies
  2. Bag
  3. Shoes
  4. Socks
  5. Underwear

You can buy all the school supplies at SM Stationery and since it is inside SM Department Store, you can also buy other back-to-school needs and pay at the same cashier! How convenient is that? It saves you from a lot of gastos! As some of my nanay friends mentioned, tipid sa pamasahe, tipid sa pagkain!

You can give a list to your kids for their school supplies needs. They can shop on their own if they are big enough to do so. While they’re doing that, you can proceed with the bag or the shoes or the socks and underwear.

Mommy Tip: When buying socks, go for the one with colored ankle. It helps them to know how to wear socks properly. Very effective.

Reason #2. SM Stationery Back-to-school BackPack

And I only discovered this now and I want to buy all the backpacks even though I only have 4 students. As per my first-born, this is a really good buy. Back packs are usually priced P500+  but this one is only 399 Pesos and already comes with school supplies.

SM Stationery back packs are packed with school supplies for Grades 1-6 students and also for high school students. The contents varies from notebooks, pad papers, pencils/ ballpens and other basic needs per grade level. Above photo are bags for Grade 2, Grade 4, Grade 6 and Grade 8 (high school).

The backpacks comes in different designs pa. Your students can choose printed, solid color, in pinks, in blues and even in grays (favorite color as of the moment).

Reason #3 SM Stationery has more cute stuff that you can imagine!

Here’s a clip of some of the best stuff we found at SM Stationery (SM City East Ortigas branch) and other interesting find during our visit:

Nakakainggit ang mga students. School supplies are cuter nowadays, mas nakaka inspired mag aral. Even the filling and storage section at SM Stationery is an eye candy!

If you love pastel colors, this is definetly your school supplies must buy:

Reason #4 SM Stationery Freebies!

Free umbrella for a minimum purchase of 1000 Pesos! May bag ka na, may school supplies ka pa, may free umbrella ka pa!

May free watch din for every 1500 purchase! And it comes in different colors.

Reason #5 SM Stationery Card Points

It’s like SMAC but is solely for SM Stationery. You spend and you get rebates. The points you accumulated can be used to purchase your kids’ next year school supplies, of course sa SM Stationery ulit.

What SM Malls have SM Stationery inside? Check out SM Stationery Facebook Page for the list.
