Monstera deliciosa care and Monstera adansonii care
Monstera are tropical plants. This type of plants usually grow inside the forest, climbing a big tree. They do not like water that much as their stems are already full of water. They also do not like direct sunlight as the leaves will burn. Watering is once a week to 10 days, depending if the top soil is already dry, 2 inches deep. The best way to water this is to put water on the sides of the pot and not on the part where the plant is planted. As much as possible avoid watering the stems are. You can spray the leaves 2x a week with a solution to keep it shiny and free from infection. The solution I use is 1 L of water to 3-5 drops of dishwashing liquid, to 3-5 drops of oregano essential oil or thieves essential oil or 1 spoon of neem oil.
