You know how other kids can influence your kids and how media/TV print ads can affect the way they think? Well obviously these are very influential to the kid’s mind. Since they have seen this PSP thing, they have been bugging us to buy them one. I have so many reasons why I don’t agree with this kind of toy. Instead of buying them one, I taught them Stone, Paper and Scissors. I was thinking maybe this can take their boredom away. Yes it does for a while and it tortured me. Every five minutes they ask me to play the game with them. I can say that they are now good on playing this game. We would play the game and see who can have the first five wins. It was really funny because my first born is really competitive when it comes to this game. He would really study your move and what will be your next bet (stone, paper or scissors). At first I was winning but days after, I can’t beat this boy!
And that was like years ago. Hubby, who just love to sabotage my parenting style and spoil his kids, gave them a toy. It is not a PSP but something like that. OK it’s a DS lite. Since then my kids have been missing. They can be found in a corner busy playing that toy. ARGHH! And so it was agreed upon that they can only play it if I will allow them to. I hope I can keep with it, it’s a torture, the kids asking for it every five minute..
Mom, can I play now?
waaahhh!
