My kids first quarter exam will be on August 11 to 14. This is the first time that they will go through this kind of academic challenge. I am quite confident that they can pass it all but I don’t want just a passing grade. I want them to ace their exams. Ace in a way that they would have good scores and enjoyed the process of reviewing and did not have a hard time answering their exams. I don’t want a perfect score if it means I have to torture them with notes and all. I will be starting their reviews, this week and let them loose on the exam week. I think it would be most effective to review them days ahead. That means, not much time to blog.. waaaahhh!!
Eat All You Can Meryenda
My sisters weer telling me about this eat all you can restaurant in our province. They said that it offers an eat all you can meryenda for 99PhP. And so when we went home to my province, me and hubby tried this meryenda buffet. I was expecting native delicacies like puto, banana cure, turon, kalamay and the likes. Instead we were greeted by pancit, spaghetti and dinuguan. Good thing there was Guinataang Mais.. on of my favorites..
Nabusog ako is an understatement.. haha.. I hope the meryenda buffet in Dad’s serves pinoy delicacies.. I can’t wait for the meet up on August 13!!
Preventing Stretch Marks (And Erasing Them)
As you know I already have kids..and lots of them, so it is not a surprise that I have stretch marks all over me. I was like the walking stretch marks. My tummy has a lot of it. Stretch marks develops when your body surpasses its skin elasticity. The term stretch and mark is very easy to explain. The skin was stretched and leaves a mark. This is commonly related to pregnancy, as pregnant woman (obviously) stretched more than their skin’s elasticity. Stretch can also be present when you lose weight. It may lighten but it never disappear… and we woman does not like that very much.
So are you really on the look out for a good product that can prevent stretch mark during pregnancy? They say applying coconut oil in your tummy can do the trick. I never liked the sticky feeling of coconut oil. My hubby’s niece (who is a med rep) recommended Elovera Cream (by Glenmark). She says that the product is safe to use even though I am preggy. I asked my OB about it and she says yes, I can use the product. I noticed that my tummy looks a bit smoother now, compared to my last three pregnancies. I also apply this cream to face and I have seen a big difference.
What made this cream a miracle cream? Alovera and Vitamin E. As it is with coconut oil (rich in Vitamin E), it has VItamin E. VItamin E is very known to make your skin look good and Alovera moisturizes the skin. It is now wonder that this cream is very good on making me beautiful and (almost) stretch marks free. It may not erase the stretch marks but it really lightens the marks and made it almost invisible.
Elovera can be bought in any Mercury Drug outlet or ask your OB about it.
