Gelatiofix is an Italian Artisinal gelato café and is renowned for its over the top gelato creations and exquisite Italian cuisine created by award-winning chefs, Gelato World Cup Champion, Master Chef Filippo Novelli and Gelatofix Master Chef David Chang. And Gelatofix BGC opens it door to give BGC people a place to take a break.
Let’s start with over the top gelato creations. Out of all Gelatofix’s signature desserts, we were able to try two.
This is Gelatofix Sushi gelato, 6 mouth-watering sushis in one plate. I tried most of the sushi and my favorite is the Ebiko sushi looking gelato. We were advised that it includes wasabi and it was one of the best sushi I had. Oh wait. It’s Gelato! Seriously, the wasabi didn’t taste spicy at all. It was more pungent, just a strong taste but not spicy. I am guessing it is because the wasabi used in this creation is fresh and not a substitute.
The Gelatofix ‘Gelato Sushi’ is a creation of Gelato World Cup Champion, Master Chef Filippo Novelli.
Now this one, which I am having a hard tome writing because this is what dessert is all about for me. This is called the ‘Magic Boxx’, created by Gelatofix Master Chef David Chang. Take note of the extra X, because this dessert is extra ordinary.
It’s a unique fusion of Asian bread, toasted and topped with Italian gelato and served with a treasure chest of Gelatofix chocolate sauce. For this dessert alone, Gelatofix is a must visit.
Other than Gelato and the desserts I mentioned above, Gelatofix also serves salad, rich-flavoured soup, unique entreé, lavish mains, and beverages. For the beverages, we got to try the Italian soad in strawberry (pictured above together with apple flavor soda).
From the menu, we got try 2 of Gelatofix entreé: Rissoto Al Funghi and Spaghetti Prawn Apricot.
If I have to choose between the two, I would have a hard time. Both are flavorful but I think the shrimp will win the hearts of many. It’s creamy and tasty, makes you want to order another bowl.
“we will be the first in the Philippines to launch an authentic Italian dessert lifestyle café chain under Gelatofix.
