My last post about Quiapo was more than a year ago na pala.. of course, balik at babalik kame doon specially for cheap eyeglasses in Quiapo.
Quiapo eyeglasses are really cheap. You can find designer eyeglasses in Quiapo at an affordable price. There are many optical shops along Paterno Street but my suki is located at the end of that street, corner Estero Cegado St.
UPDATED PRICES OF Eyeglasses In Quiapo VLOG 2019
Where to buy Eyeglasses In Quiapo:
If you missed that parking slots along Quiapo church (Mahirap talaga humanap ng parking sa Quiapo!), you can still try the parking lot (legal na parking lot to haha) at the other side of Quezon Blvd. Ikot lang kayo sa dulo before the bridge.. Before the over pass, may makikita kayo na PARKING sign at medyo maliit na iskinita papasok doon sa parking lot. Lakd na lang ng kaunti, tawid sa overpass, lakad pa kaunti sa may Chowking (papunta ng simbahan way ha) then Paterno Street na.
Tanong nyo muna magkano ang lens.. tumawad kayo kung pwede! I can’t remember kung magkano pero if you would ask for a lens, ask for Essilor Crizal Prevencia, bagay sya if mahilig ka mag computer kase may blue light filter na, may UV filter pa.
Pag nagkasundo na kayo sa presyo, they’ll bring you to an optical clinic to get your eye grade (maya bayad yan, 100 Pesos lang naman) better if you already have your grade. Ang ginagawa ko, check up muna sa ophthalmologist then pagawa ng salamin sa Quiapo. It’s just me but I believe mas accurate ang reading ng optha.
Eyeglasses frames for as low as 90 Pesos
After getting your eye grade, ask them where you can buy good quality but cheap frames. They have frames din naman, but better options yung mga tindahan near them. Facing Ariel Optical shop, on your left side, you can find frames for as low as 90 PhP (wholesale price kung 6pcs ang kukunin mo). At the right side of the shop is more updated frame designs:
Designer quality eyeglasses for 500 Pesos
Quality frames for eyeglasses in Quiapo are priced at 500 Pesos and up. Sa sobrang mura, gusto ko kumuha ng 3! Kaso maharlika ang lens ko.. maybe next visit!
Here’s my current eyeglasses from Quiapo:
Aside from buying cheap but quality eyeglasses in Quiapo, here are other things you can do on that side of the Metro:
- buy kiddie bike, adult bike, mountain bike, BMX bike and bike accessories
- buy Excelente Ham
- Check out New Sin Kian Heng for Kitchen Aide Mixer price and other cooking wares
- Visit Killion for cooking and baking ingredients
- Ride a padyak to eat at Waiying
- Walk from Waiying to Ongpin street and buy gold, fruits and cogon grass:
Ang cogon grass ay mabisang gamot sa bato sa kidney. Tried and tested! Uminom ako ng cogon grass tea at lumabas talaga ang bato sa kidney ko.

September 4, 2017 at 12:35 pmI’ve been getting my spectacles from Quiapo ever since I was 12 years old (I’m 41 now). Everything you mentioned about spectacles being cheaper in Quiapo compared to other places is spot-on. I want to thank you for including in your post the ballpark price for lenses, since I had to leave the country for around 7 years, and I haven’t had any updates up until now about how much they’d normally charge for lenses in Quiapo. Yung mga lens ko kasi ay mahal din talaga, because of my very weak eyesight. Thanks again for posting this, and more power to your blog.
