I asked some of my mommy blogger friends to share their DIY Halloween Costumes! Check it out their Do it yourself Halloween costumes:
Mommy Levy dressed her son as Superman’s alter ego, Clark Kent. Check out her blog post on how to DIY a Clark Kent costume> How to do a Clark Kent Costume
Jhanis of Vanilla Housewife said they made the PVZ zombie head using a box. tissue paper, poster paint and lots of glue and masking tape. The eyes are styro balls.
Mommy Badet is now officially my DIY 1st princess LOL (joke lang Badet! haha) She made Gwen a DIY India costume and DIY Dora The Explorer costume:
Mommy Serene of Nurse’s Diary took inspiration from the movie The Croods with their Halloween costume last year:
And here’s my fair share of DIY Halloween costumes:
Out of the 5 costumes I made for Sati this October (I did that? what?!?) this DIY angel costume was the easiest. The wings, I was planning to DIY it too but Mommy Chai just lend a pair of wings to me.
Her top is an undershirt, a few sizes bigger than her. I sewed frosted illusion tule for the sleeves. I also use the same fabric for the tutu. As usual, the tutu was a no sew one. How to make no sew tutu? Check out my blog post>>> How to make a no sew tutu for little girls.
This is the costume that won her the best costume from the Shakey’s Party we attended a few weeks ago. And this is the hardest I made! Everything was hand sewn on that costume!!!
This Elsa costume needs more polishing..but it’s really easy to make as long as you got the right fabric. I bought mine from Taytay, Rizal.
This is the costume she wore during the Mommy Bloggers Philippines Halloween Party. I enjoyed making this costume because I made it in less than an hour! And the shoes! It’s so tink!!
The last but not the least, this is the costume she wore for United Nations Parade:
From Elsa costume onwards, I already got a small sewing machine that helped me in making the costumes.
As you can see , I really enjoy making costumes!
Are you ready for the Halloween? What will be your kids’ costume this Halloween?
