To say we had a blast this Holiday is an understatement.. we had so much FUN!
We decided to spend Christmas here in Pasig, much cheaper than spending it in the province.. we just provided for the fare of my sisters, brothers (only brother and brother in law) and of course my mom. We had the usual food for Noche Buena, shrimp, salad, hotdog & BBQ and ham and queso de bola as requested by my first born son:
The boys spent the night opening their gifts and munching on the goodies they got from their Christmas Socks:
Our Santa for the night, the socks were so big a commercial bunn coffee maker can fit in.
Supposedly, the boys will have games after opening the gifts but since we’re all tired preparing the food, we decided to have it on Christmas Day. But before the games, photo shoot first!
Siblings photo opp.. our last photo together was 5 years ago 🙂
The princess who is so happy with her gifts.. a Pink Piano from her Ninang Seiko, teddy bear from her Ninang Yami and a cute pink bag and bible from her Ninang Chris. She also got her Minnie Mouse and some books.
And the game is on!
Pinoy Henyo with the boys.. well, actually, most of the time, the boys played, while the girls laughed at them hahahaha
Trip to Jerusalem and Paper dance..our boys specially the little ones had so much fun with all the games. We almost died laughing while playing Tanging Hinga mo game.. a game where in the longest aaaah wins… the twist? 2 mallows on the mouth.. we all end up laughing.. but our mom beat us all.. she had it for 15 seconds! wahahaha
We really had so much fun and overwhelming happiness last Christmas and it is not brought about the food or the gifts but by the fact that we’re all here, complete and happy.. as Burton Hillis puts it:
“The best of all gifts around any Christmas tree: the presence of a happy family all wrapped up in each other.“

December 28, 2011 at 11:55 pmWow! The food looks yummy!!! And I’m curious, why is it cheaper to celebrate Christmas in Manila than in the province? I would think that the latter would be cheaper.
